Yes. Most, if not all wineries will charge between $40 – $120 tasting fee per person which usually gets you 4 or 5 samplings. Many of the wineries will waive the tasting fee if you purchase bottles of wine or sign up for their wine club.

Partial day wine tours last 4 – 6 hours and full day wine tours last 8 hours.

How long should you spend at each winery in Napa Valley?

While it depends on the winery and tasting flight, you can expect a wine tasting to last 60 – 90 minutes.

How many wineries should you visit in a day in Napa Valley?

We recommend 2 to 3 winery visits, but not more than that as most experiences take a minimum of 90 minutes and there is travel time in between. However, It is possible to squeeze in a 4th winery for the day but with a quick lunch stop or even having lunch at 1 of the winery locations.

Can I choose the wineries we visit in Napa Valley?

Yes, you may customize your tour and choose any winery that is open to the public. Keep in mind, some wineries require appointments several weeks in advance, and we can not guarantee their availability.

It’s hard to go wrong staying anywhere in the Napa Valley area but we recommend staying downtown Napa or the town of Yountville, with amazing restaurants and shops all around.
